The Legend Condo Tower

To start, we demolished an existing building, and gathered some contaminated soil off the surface before we began the mass excavation for the subterranean parking garage.  After the shoring contractors drilled and placed the beams and slurry, we began digging the basement and carefully removing the soil and slurry from each beam in 5’ increments.  The soils were exported off site.  We ran into more contaminants that had to be separated and handled accordingly.  Every ten 10’ we would leave a flat bench for the shoring contractor to set up the drill rig for tie backs.
