Richard Walton has been in the excavating and grading field since 1975. He and his brother began the business with a skiploader and a dump truck. When his brother left the company Richard continued the business on his own. He is a licensed General Engineering Contractor and has experience with all aspects of the excavating and grading business including estimating, field management and equipment purchasing.
Margie Walton attended SDSU as a business major. She worked as a bookkeeper for several companies before becoming the bookkeeper for Richard and his brother in 1978. She has experience in accounting, project management, construction law and safety administration.
Whitney Smith has worked in the excavating and grading field for over 30 years. Starting out in the business as a laborer, working through the ranks as an equipment operator and job foreman then into the office. Whitney has been with Naton Engineering since 1990 as lead estimator and project manager.
Laurence Walton has been in the excavating, grading and demolition industry for over 10 years. He has experience in all aspects of the industry acquired from working as a labor, grade checker, operator and foreman gaining him knowledge in his current position, Field Operations Superintendent. Laurence’s roll consists of scheduling, estimating, equipment management, client relations, and field coordination including worker health and safety.
